RED LIGHT THERAPY
Using Light as Medicine
Red light therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to support the body’s natural healing processes. When this light reaches your cells, it helps them produce more energy, which can improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and support tissue repair.
Many patients use red light therapy to help with joint or muscle pain, skin health, wound healing, and overall recovery. Treatments are comfortable, relaxing, and require no downtime, making red light therapy an easy way to support healing and wellness.
Red Light Therapy
How does it heal?
At the cellular level, red and near-infrared light works primarily by stimulating the mitochondria—the small structures inside cells that produce energy.
These wavelengths are absorbed by an enzyme in the mitochondria called cytochrome c oxidase, which helps increase the production of ATP, the main energy source used by cells. As cellular energy improves, cells are better able to repair damage, reduce oxidative stress, and carry out normal healing processes.
Red light therapy can also help improve blood flow, support collagen production, and modulate inflammation, all of which contribute to healthier tissue and more efficient recovery.
Conditions Treated
Red light therapy has been studied for use in a wide-range of medical conditions, including…
- Pain – low back, tendinopathies, neuropathy
- Osteoarthritis
- Autoimmune conditions
- Skin rashes, scar reduction, skin rejuvenation
- Wound healing
- Traumatic brain injury, stroke recovery
- Hair loss
- …and many more

Red Light Therapy Options
Red light can be “administered” in a variety of ways…
Red Light Panels
Medical-grade, high-power, low-EMF
Red Light Bed
Multiple panels for increased intensity…and comfortable
Intranasal Red Light
Efficient absorption via the blood vessels of the nasal septum
Red Light Caps
Part of a multi-modality approach to hair maintenance and restoration
